Design & Engineering
We then analyze the approved project specifications so we can meet and even exceed your expectations for capabilities and functionality. During this phase, we provide detailed outlines of hardware model numbers, prices, and labor requirements for the job. Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology and project drawings, our engineering team develops a comprehensive plan for our lighting designers, low-voltage technicians, AV teams, automation specialists, and trade partners to follow. This plan includes crucial details on wiring, lighting load looping and grouping, engineering schematics, rack elevations, and keypad specifications.
Project Specification
Once we’ve completed the initial needs analysis, we will create a detailed document that outlines your budget and performance expectations. The initial proposal will lay out the different subsystems you want in your space, organized by room for easy reference. We will dive deep into the features and functionalities of indoor and landscape lighting, audio, video, and networking in each space. For instance, each room's documentation will list lighting fixtures and control options you may want to include, as well as Wi-Fi coverage needs. We'll incorporate feedback into the project specification before moving forward to the project design phase.
Lighting Design
A professional lighting design curates the ideal atmosphere in every room of your property. We'll begin by understanding how you plan to use your living areas or work spaces so we can later develop a multi-layered design. By choosing the ideal fixtures and lighting loads, we can help you incorporate ceiling fixtures for general illumination, sconces for accenting, and downlighting under cabinets or on tables for focused tasks. We then strategically group fixtures with dedicated loads for enhanced smart control. For instance, imagine pressing a button labeled "Artwork" to showcase sculptures and art pieces.
